The Philodendron Hastatum, also known as the Philodendron Silver Sword is a vining plant, which produces spectacular sword shaped leaves that can reach a meter in length. As the plant matures, the leaves become more sword-shaped and develop a silver tone, making this a fabulous addition to any plant collection.

Light: Medium to bright indirect light.
Water: Water 2 or three times per week during periods of growth. Decrease watering in winter.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity - mist every 2 days for best growth.
Pet Friendly: No - Toxic to all pets.

We ship from Orange County, and we only ship within the United States. We do not ship to Hawaii / Canada / International. We typically ship on Mondays or Tuesdays to avoid plants being stuck in transit over the weekends, but we may sometimes ship later in the week depending on order volume. With that said, we cannot guarantee or control delivery time. If delivery time is a concern, please opt for upgraded shipping.

We take great care when packaging and preparing your plants for shipment. They'll be shipped either in a nursery pot in soil or sphagnum moss, or shipped bare root wrapped in sphagnum moss or other damp material to retain moisture. We also add poly-fil around the plant for padding, then wrap it in bubble wrap, and finally add packing peanuts for extra cushion to ensure a safe and clean transport.

We also offer local pick-up if you're in the Orange County area.

We're a U.S. based seller so our plants ship directly from our greenhouse in Orange County to your house. You don't have to worry about the hassles associated with ordering overseas. No worrying about phytosanitary certificates, plants being stuck in Customs or USDA inspection, or having to acclimate plants to their new environment. When you order from us, it's simple and straightforward. Our plants are rare, but our customer service is always well-done!
