Anthurium Silver Blush is a highly sought-after hybrid of Anthurium Crystallinum. Most sections of the Silver Blush’s leaves look as though they are dabbed with the most gorgeous pearl-grey shades from a makeup palette. Through this silvery layer, pigments of dark green artistically surface with a coarse, crayon-like effect. New leaves are often tinged with a red-violet color.

Due to its round, cordate leaves and wide veins, the plant is often mistaken for another similar variety, Anthurium Dorayaki. But they are actually two different plants! You can always distinguish the Silver Blush with its largely silver foliage. The Dorayaki plant only has broad silver veins.

The Silver Blush prefers bright, indirect sunlight and a well-draining soil mix. Adding sphagnum moss into the potting mix you choose will help with aeration and moisture retention. As the plant likes humidity, you can mist it regularly but check that the top soil is dry before watering.

Even as it grows, Anthurium Silver Blush will be a much smaller fellow compared to the Anthurium Crystallinum. This makes it suitable for a terrarium. With proper care, it is truly a beautiful, ornamental plant to have in your collection.

We ship from Los Angeles, and we only ship within the United States. We do not ship to Hawaii / Canada / International. We typically ship on Mondays or Tuesdays to avoid plants being stuck in transit over the weekends, but we may sometimes ship later in the week depending on order volume. With that said, we cannot guarantee or control delivery time. If delivery time is a concern, please opt for upgraded shipping.

We take great care when packaging and preparing your plants for shipment. They'll be shipped either in a nursery pot in soil or sphagnum moss, or shipped bare root wrapped in sphagnum moss or other damp material to retain moisture. We also add poly-fil around the plant for padding, then wrap it in bubble wrap, and finally add packing peanuts for extra cushion to ensure a safe and clean transport.

We also offer local pick-up if you're in the Los Angeles area.

We're a U.S. based seller so our plants ship directly from our greenhouse in Los Angeles to your house. You don't have to worry about the hassles associated with ordering overseas. No worrying about phytosanitary certificates, plants being stuck in Customs or USDA inspection, or having to acclimate plants to their new environment. When you order from us, it's simple and straightforward. Our plants are rare, but our customer service is always well-done!

Beautiful plant

I received a beautiful plant and it was packaged wonderfully. One leaf didn’t make it in shipping but another new leaf is already on the way, indicating that it’s a healthy and happy plant. Thanks so much!
