Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegated is a beautiful climber found in Southeast Asia and parts of Northern Australia. Juvenile leaves appear to be ovate but eventually split and develop fenestrations as they mature. Its green leaves are colored with splotches of white and cream-colored variegations, which are visible on the stems as well.
This climbing plant requires extended periods of exposure to bright, indirect sunlight. Insufficient light will cause the majority of leaves to be green instead of variegated. For its soil needs, you can use a peat-based potting mix combined with orchid bark, perlite, and charcoal. An aroid mix is also a good choice. You only need to water the plant 1 to 2 times per week as it is prone to overwatering.
Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegated can grow up to an impressive height of 6.5 feet. Use a coir totem, or similar poles, to provide support for the plant to grow upwards. The aerial roots it develops as it climbs can be used for propagation. Fertilize the plant once a month and repot it every 1 to 2 years, when it comes rootbound.
The remarkable foliage change of Epipremnum Pinnatum Variegated is a delight to witness. Its instinct to grow, evolve and reach for the skies makes the plant a joy and inspiration to nurture.
